First of all we (Jack & Roneka) give GOD all the glory and praises because without him none of this will be possible. Secondly, we give thanks to all of you who give us support however and whenever we need it. Jack & I story is long but also complicated and dear. We have known each other for a total of about 16 years. His mother(RIP) and my aunt became good close friends during their trail with kidney failure. I met Jack and we would speak whenever we saw each other. As the years went along we grew a friendship that was fruitful. About 6 years ago our friendship grew closer and if Jack had a concert(gospel singing group) I was there to support him or he preached guess what?.... I was there!!!! Basically, I supported Jack and he also supported me when I needed a friend to talk to no matter what. Now here is the freaky part..... About 3 years ago our friendship took a turn that neither one of us was willing to accept. We told ourselves as well as family/friends we were "just friends". God put his plan into motion and for Hurricane IKE we evacuated together to Killeen,TX along with my family. That night 09/11/08 in the pool along with my cousin and her husband, Jack proposed to me. It wasn't suppose to be official until we got back home but their BIG mouths announced it. So here we are planning a wedding to start our lives together. Hope to see you there..............
God has blessed the both of us with each other. Someone who will be there when times are rough and one who will celebrate during the Good. Love conquers all whether it be right or wrong. Always and Forever, Hold on to God's Unchanging Hands. With that in mind Jack and Roneka will be united as one on Saturday December 26,2009 @ 6:00 pm. The ceremony will take place at Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church located @ 501 W Thomas Blvd in Port Arthur,TX. The attire is after five and the wedding colors are chocolate, claret and ivory.
At this time the reception location is not confirmed........sorry for any inconvience.
We basically have said a whole lot but we will conclude with GOD bless you all and we love each and every one of you. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers
