Just about anyone who lives in Hampton probably knows about West Telecommunications. The place where they will hire any college student looking for a summer job. You go just to work your shift then leave, unless you want to take part in all the work place drama. We both worked there in the summer of 2007, and our potential drama turned into a dream. Sitting beside one another and talking for hours gave us a chance to get to know one another. This turned into taking lunches together, which turned into hanging out, which became dating, which evolved into love. Being in a long distance relationship for a year had its difficulties, but the undying commitment to one another brought Dominique to Delaware or Renee to Virginia every other weekend. This sacrifice truly proved worthwhile. Staying faithful to God and open to one another was the rock in our relationship. Now we look forward to spending the rest of lives together, serving God and loving one another.
